How hilly are the Marathon and Half Marathon courses?
Both courses are fairly flat. The courses cross the Cass Street Bridge that spans the Mississippi River. From there the half and the full cross one viaduct just before mile 11. The full marathon & relay continue to approximately mile 15.5 before running the hill to Red Cloud Park. There is another viaduct just before mile 17, and then again at about mile 21.
