How highly rated is the Royal Philharmonic orchestra?

They have been performing covers for over 30 years – so long before you were born. It is seen as honor to an artist for them to cover your songs. Royal prefixing any name indicates world- wide quality. Hence if you are in the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra you are a musician of world class or first rate. The House of Windsor ( Queens family) own the name in in the UK and Commonwealth and when you see it used – it means the House of Windsor has put their seal of approval on it. I have a few of the early recordings but over the years I find it boring as it is no longer novel. When they first performed covers it was a massive deal and te public and press were shocked and elated as they were so highly respected in the world of classical music. But thirty years later to me it is nothng special, but the artists who they cover are honoured by the accolade of being covered. To be honest I suppose I would also be honored if I was an artist too. I’m just jealous.
