How high is a high water table?
Hello, “High” in High Water Table just means the Highest that the ground water will normally get in an area. Whether the ground water is too “high” depends on what you are trying to do. I build swimming pools in central Florida, and we always have to be on the lookout to keep our pools from “popping” out of the ground from the hydrostatic pressure. Most of the holes we dig, we encounter ground water at about 2 meters. It is normal for us, but most other places would consider this to be VERY HIGH.
