by Don Carlin, Bailey Middle School Estimating cloud height using Excel In this WebQuest, middle school students will search the Internet to research the four basic cloud types, the conditions necessary for clouds to form, create a cloud in a bottle, and create a spreadsheet to estimate cloud height. Students will also use an Internet site that specifically generates cloud height when ambient temperature and humidity are given. Students will use this site to check on the accuracy of their graphs.
