How heavy are the frames ?
A. There are two types of scaffold towers the Advanced Apex and the Summit range The Advanced Apex Scaffold Tower is a heavier frame because it is designed for building and construction work, so it has to be made out of bigger tubing to meet this demand, as well as making it light enough to work with. The 4’4″ frames are 8kg approx and the 6’4″ frames are 12kg approx . The Summit Scaffold Tower range is designed with lighter work in mind such as painting, fitting windows etc so the frames can be made lighter, the 2’6″ frames are 4kgs approx, 4’3″ frames are 6kgs approx and 5’ frames are 8kgs approx.
