How heavy are the containers?
How secure are storage containers? Storage containers are very secure. They are constructed from high tensile steel, with a 27mm treated plywood floor mounted on steel cross members. Containers have double opening doors secured with lockable locking bars as standard. For all hire units we fit an extra high security lock box and supply a high security lock. Do I need planning permission for a storage container? Storage containers are non-permanent so in most cases not. However, it is worth checking if the storage container is going to be in a residential area, near a road junction, or likely to cause complaints from neighbours. If we rent storage containers, can we buy them at a later date? Providing we know before we send the container to you that you may wish to purchase it at a later date this can be arranged. However, if you take a hire container without informing us of your possible intent to buy it, this will not be possible.
