How have you organised paying bills in a house shared by students?
When I was in college I lived in a house with two other guys. I had the electric bill in my name, another had cable and another had other things. We also thought it was stupid for each of us to buy our own huge bags of chips and what not so what we decided to do was create a spreadsheet. Whenever I paid a bill I would enter it how much money I spent on the bill, the spreadsheet would then add 1/3 of the bill to friend A and 1/3 of the bill to friend B saying they owed me XX amount. When somoeone bought groceries that were designated as for the house they would enter the amount in the spreadsheet and it would be divided up the same way. At the end of every month we all would sit down and see after everything I paid during the month I would owe A XX amount but friend B would owe me XX amount and we’d work it all out. Worked pretty good, but I guess it only works if you trust the people who live with you. it’s pretty easy excel computations and what not. Sorry, never used a bank, just the
