How have the baseline allocations for electricity usage in each Department been assessed?

0

The electricity used in each building in the University estate has been measured over the last 2 years (2005/06 and 2006/07). Having reviewed the data and noted the year on year increases averaging around 4%, it was decided to set the baseline at 3% above the usage in 2006/07. Across the estate this would amount to a 5% saving against ‘business as usual’. Each Department’s allocation is based on electricity used in the buildings which it occupies.
