How have parents/carers responded to CWP in schools?
Where parents’ meetings are held to explain that teachers are receiving CWP training, the content of the lessons is shared with parents/carers and they have the opportunity to express their views. In keeping with the law, parents can withdraw their children from all or part of the SRE lesson. In our experience this seldom happens and most parents/carers are very positive about the programme.
