How have load times and performance improved for AutoPLANT models in ProjectWise Navigator?
Load times and performance have improved in the latest release of ProjectWise Navigator. Initial load times are comparable to AutoCAD for models. Once a model is loaded the performance of tools such as View Rotation and Pan will also perform similarly to AutoCAD. To increase performance of a DWG model the the model can be “Published” or converted into a publish.dgn file. Once published, viewing options such as Walk, Fly, Pan and View Rotation will be noticably more smooth. Loading times for Publish.dgn files are significantly quicker as well.
