How have jobs been graded? How many red circles and green circles will there be?
A. You will find a great deal of information about this on the Pay and Reward Modernisation website http://www.humanresources.ed.ac.uk/paymodernisation/Home.htm . In particular, you can read the grade profiles, used for matching jobs of all kinds to the new grades, at http://www.humanresources.ed.ac.uk/paymodernisation/Documents.htm. The process is not yet complete, with results still being carefully checked right across the University. However, as things stand at the moment, it looks as if there will be roughly twice as many green circles (around 10%) as red circles (around 5%).
