As far as I’ve ever known it’s only the Christian followers who have chosen to ignore earlier religions and their resemblance to Christianity. Scholars are the voices of reason nobody wants to listen to. The virgin birth, the disciples, the moral lessons, etc, all done before. Yeah, people are extremely ignorant.
