How has UCAR customized Drupal for its needs?
A. The WEG has developed a UCAR Auth Drupal module to support UCAS authentication and a Prevent Session Hijack module as well to ensure the https protocol is used for security-sensitive actions like login, content editing and administration forms. The UCAR Drupal template site comes pre-configured with UCAR and NCAR themes that give developers a nice head start for developing their site’s look and feel. A set of widely useful contributed modules also comes standard with the template site. Security patches and updates are applied to all Drupal sites automatically using a Debian package management solution.
