How has this affected Beit Shemesh?
Answer Beit Shemesh is a small town of 60,000 people located in the center of Israel between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. There are estimated to be over 1000 people from the North now temporarily located in Beit Shemesh. Around half of these are staying with family and friends, without requiring external support. However, some 500 are now totally relying on the broader community to supply their basic needs.
