The New York market has been hit hard by the recent downturn in the economy. It is fair to say that the collapse of the Investment Banks has impacted every aspect of business in the US to varying degrees. The beauty of the American culture though is that their upbeat nature and determination to get back on track have meant that we are beginning to see the green shoots of recovery. There is no doubt in anyone’s mind that the situation may grow worse before it gets better but in the New York office we are embracing the positive outlook, solidifying our client relationships in anticipation of the inevitable hiring spree on the horizon.
