How has the IT industry been performing in the Nigerian economy?
Well, I sill say that the IT industry has not taken its rightful place in the economy. The IT industry could achieve much more than it is doing. I can tell you this, by the time, you have an improved telecommunications infrastructure, and also by the time you make it possible for about 50 to 60 % of our people, to have computer and therefore are able to connect to the internet, our economy will improve. The engine growth of most economy today in the developed countries is the IT industry. If we do the right things that needed to be done, alot will happen to our economy. We will experience an exponential growth in our economy, just as recently we’ve seen what is happening in the American economy.
