How has the Gator / Jimmy Jib been modified?
The Gator tracking vehicle and both of our Jimmy Jibs have been strengthened by ‘Ronford Baker – Camera Support Technology’ to ensure a fully rigged Jimmy Jib can be moved safely from one location to another. A new ‘three way leveler’ (see picture gallery) has been designed and built to ensure the Jimmy Jib can be operated safely on a variety of sloping surfaces. Power systems have been integrated into the vehicle to supply the Jimmy Jib and the High Def monitors. This is a CUSTOM MADE VEHICLE and NOT just a standard Jimmy Jib strapped onto a quad or Land rover! This is why clients such as ABC, Turner Network Television, ITV Sports and The Golf Channel use our Camera Tracking facilities!
