How has the EDM/EFR access request process changed for EDA Users?
If requesting EDM Document Access via EDA, signed hard/soft copies of a SAAR form (DDForm 2875) and a Rules of Behavior (ROB)/Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) signature page is not required to be submitted to the EDM Help Desk in Columbus. A user registers in EDA and indicates EDM/EFR document access. The EDA POCs approves the users registration or EDA POC’s also have the ability to update an existing EDA user’s profile to request EDM/EFR document access. Either process submits a ‘authorized’ request to the EDM Help Desk. The EDM Help Desk will process the request and notify the user and provide them with a EDM/EFR user ID and password for access to EDM documents. EDA POCs have authority to request EDM/EFR access for their user community without additional forms or justification.
