• Each unit now comprises four sections rather than five • The assessment objectives have led to some content changes: – knowledge at 10% is assessed only by the key words – understanding at 40% remains the same – personal and evaluation have been increased to 50% matching the AT1 and AT2 of KS 1–3 • There is no coursework, just written exams • Candidates study one unit for the short course and two units for the full course • The full course now fits the Key Stage 4 Citizenship and PSHEE requirements much more fully Find out more about this specification on Edexcel’s site.
