How has terrorism changed the world today?
Terrorism is effectively an act of aggression not supported by a recognized military institution against a largely civilian population. It is not this concept that has changed the world but rather it is revolutions in communicational, transportational and military technology (in the form of ever more “efficient” explosives) that have made a difference. Oh yes, and geopolitical instigators also. In other words terrorism is a product rather than the cause.
