How has Tata Power gained from the various initiatives taken at the group level?
Tata Power has gained a lot from group initiatives. The code of conduct has clarified the thinking that, even in a sector like power, we can progress and work while keeping ethics in mind. Over a period of time this can, in fact, become an advantage. Today we do various things in common with other group companies, including benchmarking. Theres two-way traffic: Tata Power is contributing to the group companies and they are contributing to Tata Power. When you look at large companies such as Tata Power, its not just the company but the group holding in it that comes into play.
