How has SSP found the training and support from Burger King?
Both have been excellent. At SSP, we place great importance in training and developing our people. Burger King run a thorough training package designed to take new starters all the way up to the level of restaurant manager. Each staff member is issued with a passport upon induction, which allows them through every area of the operation. Burger King also runs in-house courses to train managers at various levels of their development. In terms of support, we have a dedicated business manager who is always reachable for any issues that arise. We have quarterly meetings to allow both parties to air concerns or successes.
