How has multiculturalism improved Australias food choices and cuisine?
In a huge way, people will pretty much try anything over here because we have grown up with so many different nationalities that most of us don’t even think what we are eating is not already from here. Eg. Spag Bol, oz favourite, Kebab, standard late night fare, fish & chips, Burgers, Sushi, there is more sushi sold here for lunch in most cities than I could climb over in a week, big hairy truck drivers have been seen eating sushi. Chinese food, Pizza, Indian food, Greek food, Thai, Thai and More Thai, Indonesian, Malaysian, Lebanese! I don’t have enough time to go further, but most of us have tasted most of the above, on a regular basis. Oh, we have really good meat pies here too, just not everywhere.
