How has europeanisation and colonisation affected traditional Australian aboriginal culture?

0

Aspects of Aboriginal culture and tradition do remain, even among urbanized people. However, it is extremely difficult for Aboriginal people to live both a traditional lifestyle and a white lifestyle. Aboriginal people often are “living white”, but remain close to aspects of culture and tradition, even though it is hard for them to do it. This is what has created the common feeling of alienation amongst Aboriginals, in that they feel black, but are living white. Even children know some aspects of their culture, but it is hard for them to live that culture, due to demands from western society such as school, money etc. The culture (or many aspects of it) is stil there, its just next to impossible for any black fella to live tht way now. In essence, colonialisation has buggered it up for Aboriginal people.
