How has Direct Signature replaced FedEx Ground AUTO P.O.D (Automatic Proof of Delivery)?
– Direct Signature Required and Direct Signature Required reports will replace FedEx Ground Auto P.O.D. and FedEx AUTO P.O.D reports. – Customers who would like to receive Direct Signature Required reports must enroll prior to shipping signature-required packages. Contact your FedEx account executive to complete a new enrollment request form. – Customers enrolled in the AUTO P.O.D. (Direct Signature Required) Report Program prior to July 11, 2005 will continue to receive the same reports for all Direct Signature Required shipments. – The reporting feature is currently available only for FedEx Ground shippers. Shipments with a declared value of $500 CAD or USD or greater will receive this service at no additional charge.
