How has Connected Nation contributed to the National Broadband Map?
Connected Nation has solicited, reviewed, verified, and submitted two rounds of data to the NTIA across 13 jurisdictions, in spring 2010 and October 2010. All told, we have received, processed, and submitted to the NTIA records from over 1,400 service providers. The broadband data collected from various mapping entities and state agencies across the fifty-six states and territories that encompass the United States serves as the inputs for the broadband information displayed on the National Broadband Map. Connected Nation and its subsidiaries will continue to work with broadband providers, collect and process data, and submit semi-annual datasets to NTIA to update the National Broadband Map.
