How has access to Internet effected individuals and society?
Before the internet was invented people didn’t have an easy way to communicate masses of information across borders. There was of course radio but messages didn’t spread as fast and as much as they do on the internet. The newspapers being in need of the news before they could print them didn’t always know. This part is important for countries and groups of people that are under the oppression of others. They were not “getting on fine”, they still aren’t, but people know more about their situation now. Before the internet people had to trust what the media in their own country told them. There was way to find different opinions but they were more complicated and time consuming. In some cases meaning that you had to travel around the world to find the information. People wasn’t “getting on fine” since their governments could fill them with lies and they never knew the difference. Before the internet small businesses had a hard time getting the message out that they had things for sale. T
