How hard is the Filtrol 160 to install and do I have room for it?
The installation of a Filtrol 160 is very simple. A mounting bracket that attaches to the wall is supplied. This mounting bracket must be placed in a location close enough so that the washing machine hose discharge will reach it. Hold the mounting bracket in the correct location and attach with 2 screws to a wall stud. The canister containing the filter then simply locks onto the bracket. Attach the washing machine hose to the top of the Filtrol 160 using the hose and fittings provided, then attach hose and fitting provided to the bottom of the Filtrol 160 and place the other end of this hose back into your drain where the original washing machine hose was located. This all should take about 10 minutes.
