How hard is the Cisco CCNA exam? How does it compare to other network certification exams?
Be warned that this test is harder than the MCSE or CNE exams. However, it does have some overlapping material with the Networking Technologies exam by Novell and Microsoft’s Networking Essentials exam. Some trainers recommend that you take these exams before even considering the CCNA exam. While we would not go quite that far, we would say that if you do not have a solid understanding of the essentials of networking, you will be wasting your $100 exam fee. The best option is to take Cisco CCNA classes and prepare very, very well by doing lots of studying.
