I worked as a flight attendant for a while. It was really a good job but it wasn’t what I wanted to do for life. It is strange to have a man as a flight attendant but it seemed I got more respect than the women. I had a wife and three kids. Luckily, she was a stay at home mom during the time so it made it easier. Still I got off for most holidays and when I really needed a day off it was given to me. There were enough other people that I could get work off. If you love flying then this is a great job. You get to see the world but can be back at five. You see some of the best pilots. I worked usually a usual 8 to 5 sometimes sooner and sometimes later. There were often choices given if I wanted to go on a long trip or not. The flight company that I worked for gave me free tickets sometimes and my kids or wife could often fly on the plane during my free time I could sit by them if there were no passengers there.
