How hard is it to raise a doberman pinscher?
Dobermans are not difficult to raise at all. They can be very stubborn, but once they see you are the alpha of the pack they are excellent dogs. They want to please their owners & are very proud at doing so. Dobermans ARE very intelligent dogs and comes in at 5 on the top 10 smartest dogs in the world. http://www.petmedsonline.org/top-10-smar… I have had Dobies for many years, raised with three children & five grandchildren, never, not once have any of my dogs harmed the children. They love the kids. If the dogs aren’t trained & socialized then that is different. Not the breed’s characteristic, but the ignorance of the owner. Dobermans are not vicious at all and make excellent family pets!! I was laughing as I read every word of Ann’s answer. Judge the breed yourself after reading these. http://www
