How hard is it to learn violin?
Well….. I’ve played sax for around five years and I’m pretty good and I’m learning the violin and it’s relatively easy for me, I just haven’t really started serious practice since all I have is a little practice book and no real lessons and I only do it for 30 minutes maybe once or twice a week, but hopefully I’ll start getting a regular schedule soon. Really the time it takes just depends, you’ll get there when you get there, but the violin really isn’t hard to learn, I mean I had to teach little kids how to play one and they could all get a sound out after a few minutes, it’s just the technique like holding the bow and the violin and not arching it and keeping it straight, etc… good luck, it’s one of those instruments with the saying: easy to learn hard to master. Then again what instrument doesn’t have that saying?
