How hard is it to clean the filter bag inside the Filtrol 160?
This is very easy and only takes a few minutes. You would simply un-snap the quick adapters on top of the Filtrol 160 and remove the filter. Remove the trappings and washing machine debris from the filter and replace. The Filtrol 160 must be water tight making it necessary to have a large O-ring located in the top lid. A simple way to make sure the lid removes easily is to add a little Vaseline to the O-ring before installing the lid. Tip: If you are in a hurry when you remove the dirty filter, simply install the extra filter that Septic Solutions sends with each Filtrol 160 and clean the dirty filter later when you have more time.
