How hard is it to be a medical biller coder?

0

I am speaking from personal experience. I took a medical billing course 2 years ago and I made a 3.75 GPA. It was not really hard. It requires you to analyze everything. It was a little tough for me to find different codes at times. You know, don’t think of it as being hard. I realized during my course that I had more brain in me than I thought! I had to take an Accounting course and I was horrified…I meant HORRIFIED! I passed with an A. Don’t limit yourself by creating an obstacle. The only thing I did not like is that most places want you to have 2+ years experience adn that can be a little tough unless you know a physician or something like that. What I would say is just do a little research on the job market for a medical biller. Besides that, if you decide to take the class, good luck and remember my information, I will help as much as I can!
