If your goal is to adopt him and not allow the deadbeat to see your son…. Then just stop trying to get back child support. If what you are really after is the welfare of your son. The deadbeat will immediately not want visitation and you can continue on with your lives. The money is just not worth the trouble to your son in my opinion. It is not about right or wrong for the deadbeat, it’s about whats right for the child.
