How hard are the Rado materials?
The case and bracelet of most Rado watches are manufactured from materials that reach a hardness of 8.5 or more on the Mohs scale (Diamond = 10). This results in scratchproofness. However, scratchproof does not mean indestructible. Therefore, heavy hits or dropping the watch need to be avoided at all cost. When dropped on a hard surface a case or a bracelet can break.
