How hard are chickens whaen it comes to taking care of them?

There fairly easy to care for. I have owned chickens for 16 years. I absolutly enjoy there company and personality. Feeding: They eat if there adults or 2-3 months old afe scratch feed. If there younger thay eat chick starter. You can also when they are a bit older give them fresh fruits and veggies. Housing: They need to be safe from preditors. I do NOT confine my birds in a coop, they free range. This is great because it makes them want to lay more eggs. If you have a barn/shed, thats perfect. The shed needs to have a foot by foot or so bigger dpending on the size of your chickens. Place a roost inside and nesting boxes with bedding on the bottome. shed with interence… http://www.destinyfarmgardens.com/farm_p… http://www.readersheds.co.uk/images/shed…
