How Grandee is soot resistant?
Our patented condensing heat-exchanger is carefully designed to minimise resistance to the flow of flue gases whilst, simultaneously, ensuring a complete ‘scrubbing’ of the inner condensing unit. In the unlikely event that your Grandee should accumulate soot or carbon deposits, the outer condensing box can be slid off and the internal directional plates combined with Teflon cleaning strips (see illustration) virtually wipe clean the inner heat-exchanger.
