Non-reputable a/c companies often make ‘cold-calls’ to residential areas to generate quick income. They send a tech (usually only capable of fixing minor problems), who always seems to find that your contacts/coils/condensers need cleaning/replacing. They offer to replace them (at an exaggerated price), then offer you an extended service contract (payable at the time of purchase). Beware of all telephone solicitors!!
