How good are the tennis facilities?
Through the generosity of a former varsity tennis player, George Getz ’80, the nine court Globe Foundation Tennis Complex was dedicated in May of 2002. The courts are located in a visible, yet quiet and protected area on campus just above the Varsity Baseball field. They are state of the art hard courts with ample room between courts and spectacular areas for viewing matches. On rainy days the school is fortunate to have three indoor courts on campus. This past fall, 2008, the outdoor courts were painted, repaired and equipped with new nets.
