How good are the chances of having 34 states calling for a Constitutional Convention?
Thirty states voted for a convention call over the issue of a balanced budget amendment, so the potential for the marriage issue to obtain 33 or 34 states while the people are still supportive of traditional marriage is very good. Remember, some 38 or so states have already defined marriage between a man and a woman and now several more are set to do so. So the political support at the state level is there if we act now.
