How good are induction hobs?
I have an induction hob is brilliant, as I have one. It heats up very fast, and the way it works means that it heats up the pan, not the actual glass, so the only reason the glass gets hot is because the pan is touching it (hard to get your head round, eh?). Because of this, it means that it does not actually get as hot as a conventional ceramic might do. Also, if you accidentaly leave it on it means that it will not get hot. So I would say that an Induction hob is much better than a ceramic, with the only downside being that thay are very expensive.
