How good are Gateway Laptops?
My boyfriend is a computer science major, and his mom bought him a gateway laptop for Christmas two years ago. My advice would be to send it back or something. They suck. After only a year the power button had fallen off, the power cord never was staying in, and the screen was falling off the computer. He had to buy a brand new computer. Then I was using it a few months ago, and the computer started smoking. I mean this wasn’t his fault, he loved that thing like it was child. I would advise if you get a laptop buy either a sony or mac. I have a sony vaio and have never had a problem, and I’ve had it for 3 years. And I’ve heard nothing but good things about macs.
