How fresh are the vegetables when they’re delivered to us?
Generally, the veggies you get will have been in the fields the very day before! The cooperative has guaranteed that we will get our vegetables within 72 hours or less after harvest. For Harlem Community Farm Share, vegetables are generally picked and packed in a refrigerated warehouse on Wednesdays, then delivered via refrigerated truck to us on Thursdays.
