How frequently should my child get tutoring to prepare for his upcoming standardized test?
The short answer is: as much as possible. The more practical answer is that every student must find the balance between homework, standardized tests, sports, family, friends, having a life, etc. There is no magic number—it really depends on how much time the student has, both to meet with the tutor and between appointments to work on assignments, and what the family’s budget is. The typical student spends an hour and a half per week during the school year with a tutor, and between one and a half and two hours per week completing assignments.
