ADDM analysis is triggered AUTOMATICALLY everytime an AWR snapshot is taken. By default, AWR snapshots are taken once every hour at the end of which the automatic ADDM analysis are is triggered. Manual AWR snapshots also trigger an automatic ADDM analysis. ADDM can be run manually using the ?/rdbms/admin/addmrpt SQL script.
