How foot odor occurs?
The main reason of foot odor is the brevi bacteria (yeast bacteria). These bacteria’s are transforming the death skin which occurs between the toes and on the foot sole by digesting to amino acid, methionine, methanethiole, which has sulphur scent. Propionic acid is found on foot sweat samples. This acid is the fragmentation product of the amino acid done by the propionic bacterias. Isovaleric acid and the activity of methyl butanoic acid staphylococcus epidemidis bacteria are other sources of foot odor.
