Well, 90lbs might be unrealistic in general. 5’9″ is tall and 125lbs would be very thin. Not all body types can do that. My wife is 5’10” and would be very unhealthy below 155. It depends on the body frame. And she looks AWESOME at 155! General guidelines are 10 calories per pound for a non-exerciser. So if your friend stuck to a 1500 calorie diet with minimal exercise(because exercise is good, increases metabolism) such as 10-15 minutes of yoga per day, she could drop the weight rather quickly. Weight loss always comes down to calories in vs calories out. I’d recommend getting to 150 and see what she looks like before setting a potentially unrealistic 125lb goal…
