How fast is Grass Valley growing?
Grass Valley isn’t growing as quickly as the projections were for our previous general plan. Possibly we might get to 2% a year but it has not reached that peak. Certainly with the economy and the way the state economy is, we’re not looking at exceeding anywhere near that. A lot of our young people don’t even live in this community, because they can’t afford to. They live outside Nevada County and they commute here. And when I say those young people I’m speaking of our healthcare workers, some of my police dept. and the fire department. So that’s a big issue for our community at this time, is providing housing for our school teachers, and police officers, and healthcare workers. How are you addressing that?
