The Trac-Cab system is extremely flexible and can be configured to meet the customer’s requirements for Speed, Lifting Capacity and Cost. These factors are integrally related, and can be balanced to produce a system to meet most requirements. Maximum Speed is a function of Horse Power and Lifting Capacity. The faster the car travels, the less it can lift. Generally, a customer will choose a lifting capacity and then compromise speed vs. HP required to achieve it. 100 foot per minute travel is a popular speed and a good compromise for load carrying.
